3D Animation
Fee: $149 plus $20 lab fee

Have you ever wanted to bring your very own character or story to life? Well in the world of 3D Animation anything is possible. Learn to use 3D Studio Max the same software used by top movie studios and gaming companies. In this class students learn the fundamentals of 3D animation. Later on they will create their very own environments and characters using such methods, as key framing, lighting, and texturing. Once completed students will be able to take home a demo reel of their work to show off to friends and family.

Who should attend?
Anyone who loves to play video games. Your child will be using the same software and methods that major gaming studios use. This is an amazing opportunity to come up with creative ideas because in 3D animation anything you think of can come to life!

3D Modeling

Ages: 7 – 14 yrs old

Have you ever wanted to create something and have it come to life? Well in the world of 3D Modeling anything is possible. Learn to use 3D Studio Max, the same software used by top movie and gaming studios. In this class students learn the fundamentals of 3D Modeling. They will learn to create characters, environments and objects. They will use such methods as polygon modeling, nurbs, lighting, and texturing. Once completed they will create an array of high-resolution images of their characters and a movie of their designs.

Who should attend?
Any one who loves playing video games and watching action packed special effect movies. Kids get chance to take an idea or character and create a 3D model out of it. Watch as your character becomes interactive and grows before your very eyes. Anything you think of, 3D modeling can make it come to life!

Flash Animation
Fee: $149 plus $20 lab fee

Do you enjoy watching flash movies and animations on the web? Do you spend countless hours doodling in your sketchbook or journal at school? If so you might enjoy creating your very own Flash animation. In this class students get to learn the same tools that professionals use to create web animations. They will learn the fundamentals of 2D animation then move on to create their very own story or idea. Once completed students will walk away with a collection of their very own animations.

Who should attend?
Anyone who loves cartoons and animations. Do you enjoy playing Flash games on the internet? Macromedia Flash is the same software that many designers use to create games or Flash cartoons. Your child will enjoy the possibilities of making there own story or character and having it come to life!

Photoshop
Fee: $149 + $20 lab fee

Age: 7yrs to 14 yrs old

I’m sure you have heard of Photoshop but have you ever used it? In the Photoshop class kids will learn to create an array of graphics from illustrations too Photo manipulation. Almost every graphic image is created in Photoshop and now your child will be able to create their very own illustrations, manipulate their own Photos, and create web page layouts. Once the class is over your child will take home a CD of their very own portfolio of work.

Who should attend?
Anyone who is interested in illustration, photography, and web graphics. Have you ever wanted to manipulate a photo and place yourself in a historic famous picture? Well you can with Photoshop. You can create beautiful illustrations, edit images and create your own webpage content.

Clay Sculpting

Its fun to get your hands dirty and there’s no better way by creating your very own clay animation. In this class students learn how to sculpt clay into various forms and objects by using tools and clay sculpturing techniques. Once they finish the class students who want to jump into our Clay Animation program will be able to get in front of the camera and film their character and watch as it slowly comes to life.

Who should attend?
If you love getting your hands dirty this class is for you. Claymation is a hands on activity where having fun is also learning. Do you want to create a character or story and bring it to life? Well you can with this class. Students will start from scratch building the character and end up with an amazing short animation.

Clay Animation

Film Editing
Fee: $149 plus $20 lab fee
Duration: 8 hours
Ages: 7 – 14 yrs old

In Film Editing students take a hands on approach and edit a short movie from the ground up. Get behind the computer, edit a short movie, add special effects, sound and watch as your film slowly turns into a masterpiece. Students work together as a real life Hollywood production team. After the class is finish students will take home a DVD of their movie to show off to friends and family.

Who should attend?
The class is designed to meet the interest of kids, teens and adults. Beginners with no knowledge of video editing software but have the desire to produce a video that your whole family will enjoy and cherish will gain the knowledge and experience to create there own mini-production. People who have taken lots of video on Hi-8, VHS or other media and would like to transfer it to DVD.

Film Creation

We’ve all seen them but how many of us of made one? In Film Creation students take a hands on approach and create a short movie from the ground up. Create a script, illustrate story boards, get behind the camera and watch your ideas and story come to life. Students work together as a real life Hollywood production team. Once filmed, if students would like to sign up for the next class they will get behind the computer and editing clips, add sound and create special effects. After the class is finish students will take home a DVD of their movie to show off to friends and family.

Game Design
Fee: $149 plus $20 lab fee
Duration: 8 hours
Ages: 8 – 14 yrs old

Do you love playing video games but think you could make a better game then the designers? If so, game design brings out the creativity and dedication in creating your very own game. In this class we use the same tools used by professionals in the video game industry. Students will learn the process of 3D modeling, animation and programming. In this class students will utilize subjects taught to them in school such as mathematics, graphing, map making, team work, and apply them to game design.

Who should attend?
If you play video games you’ll love this class. It’s not often that you get to build your own level or game. In this class you’ll work with the Source SDK tool set, the same developer kit that was used to create blockbuster games such as Counter Strike, Half-Life 2 & Day of Defeat.
