About Us

Did you know that many famous independent feature films have been edited on final cut pro? Do you have a passion for post-production? Have you ever used green/blue screens before to create digital backgrounds? Students will utilize mini digital video cameras in order to capture digital video footage and then edit on the Final Cut Pro studio platform (Final Cut Pro, motion, sound edit pro, and DVD Studio Pro). Students will then each individually log and capture footage and edit on Apple Final Cut Pro 5 . In addition to learning how to mark and trim clips in a timeline, students will add music, filters, transitions, titles and credits. What’s New? This course focuses heavily on post-production and creating stunning motion graphics, using motion. Each student will edit his/her own project using their own computer. In just 5 days, each student will shoot, edit, and author their very own project. Some shooting should be done on students own time.
