Every month C3 throws a Showcase event for new popular games.  This is your chance to try out and test the latest games for free!  

For the week of December 8th through 16th try out 1free hour of Crysis.  Made by the same development team who brought you the acclaimed PC game Far Cry.  Crysis utilizes the most powerful game engine to date, producing graphics that rival CG movies. 

Try it out  December 8th-16th.

For the week of December 16th through 23rd try out 1 free hour of Universe at War.

Qualifications

-Able to work 8pm-12am Saturday August 9th

-Must have collection of music, vinyls, mp3s, cds ect..

-Must have own equpiment (we provide the speakers and amplifer) just plug in and play.

-Must play various styles of music from, Hip-hop, Techno, R&B, Rap, House

-In High School or older, fresh non-experienced, and good people skills.

-Being able to promote through High school or social networks like Myspace and Facebook is a plus.

Do you have the desire to help students succeed in school?  Would you like to part of team that not only provides the best entertainment but makes education fun and engaging?  C3 is looking for a tutor to help provide additional help for students who bring work from school in.  The idea candidate would be willing to work with K-8th grade in all major school subjects.  

-Flexible, part-time schedules 6-20 hours a week.

-Fun work environment

-Experience in tutoring/teaching is a plus.

-Competitive pay

-A degree is not required but a student attending college majoring in teaching is ideal.

Entry Fee:

• $20 At the door
• $15 Pre-Register

Tournament Format:

• Up to 32 Person Double Elimination, Players will be seeded based on a qualifying round
• Best 2 out of 3 songs
• Pro Face Off mode
• Expert Difficulty unless BOTH players agree to another difficulty
• No Hyperspeed unless BOTH players agree to it.
• No Downloaded songs allowed unless BOTH both players agree to it.
  

Song Selection Rules:

• Each player will choose one song.
• The higher seeded player decides who will choose the first song.
• A 3rd tiebreaker song will be chosen at random if needed to decide the match.
• You may not play a song that either you or your opponent has already played in the tournament. (Hint: This leaves a lot of room for strategy!)

Semi-Final and Final Rounds:

• When only 3 competitors remain, your song selection history is erased. (This means you may pick a song even if you or your opponent has played it in previous rounds)
• All matches will be played on six 10ft projection screens with surround sound.

• As of right now we are running these tournaments with out the help of any big sponsors so everything is produced and run independently by C3. We are aiming for 4-6 stations so we can run a smooth tournament. We are asking the community to help bring their own Xbox360, copy of the game, and guitar. In doing so, we will offer $5.00 off the registration fee to the first 4 people who arrive at or before 5pm.
